Hey guys. The file attached to this post isn't the Vlad Day 5 update you were probably expecting. It is By Your Hands, and it does contain some new content, but it doesn't cover most of the game. I didn't want to make this post, but compounding circumstances made this the only reasonable option.
The Vlad Day 5 Update isn't coming out this month. I thought we'd be able to get the build out by the end of the month, which is why I didn't pause the billing for this month. However, several issues came up. Nemo got caught up with work and personal life stuff, so he didn't have much time to work on the script. I tried to write some scenes for him to help unload the work off of him, but I just wasn't able to write much. I just couldn't come up with the words. I would sit down for five hours to write, and then write at most 400 words. I don't work well under pressure; I hate rushing towards a deadline. I also just wanted to work on other projects. I wanted to finish Farewell, Wanderlust, and Every Date Has Its Progs And Cons. I wanted to work on Project Delusion Tax. I wanted to do other stuff as well. And so, it became hard to get motivated to write for By Your Hands. Plus, my writing skills aren't polished enough to provide the quality writing you guys are used to in time, and I don't want to give you guys half-baked content.
I'm really sorry that things turned out like, but there's not much I can do.
So here's what I'm going to do. I provided a build that contains what Nemo has written so far for Day 5 of Vlad's route. It's not much, but it's the least I can give you guys. We'll work our hardest to finish the update in March. I have paused the billing cycle for March, so if you guys got charged in February, you'll still get the full build for Day 5 when it comes out without paying anything. If you already cancelled your membership, DM me so that I can send the build to you personally.
Also, as a conciliation, I will provide an Alpha build for Project Delusion Tax in a few days. I have written out the introduction and drawn sprites for the two main characters, so all I have to do is draw the expressions and program it all in. It's going to be super rough. There's going to be a demo for the public that will be a lot more polished, so nothing but the writing and the artstyle is going to be reflective of the final game. I have also written out a sex scene that happens later on in the story, so I might put out another alpha build in March that contains that. By the way, I'm still figuring out the name of the VN, but right now I'm gravitating towards "Great Men Don't Lie". Let me know if you like the name or not.
Again, I'm so sorry that I couldn't provide the update for you guys this month. We'll make sure this doesn't happen again in the future. Please understand.
