Hi, as some of you know Monster Layer was originally part of a lewd furry game jam called Strawberry Jam, which takes place over the entire month of February! This is a vote to decide whether I should do a jam this year or not!
I had initially written off doing it today cause well, things are busy. I have a fursuit project that will almost certainly be worked on through February, and of course Monster Layer Updates AND secret work on Game 2. I can’t possibly sneak in time for a game jam at the same time.
And that is still true, I’ll have to balance my time in some way. So if I do work on a Jam game, there will be no monster layer update for February. There will be however, the new jam game for you to play XD!
The jam game will be small and likely never worked on again. To give you context the original version of Monster Layer only had Kobolds, the dragon, about 40 perks, and Jon as the only playable character. And honestly the Monster Layer jam felt like catching lightning in a bottle, so I can’t promise it’ll be as good. Though I have learned a lot in the past year XP.
It goes without saying but I will anyway, everything goes back to normal in March regardless.
So the vote is during February is: do I make a jam game, or make a Monster Layer Update?
