We’re in the middle of a heatwave in the UK and I believe the same goes for quite a few other countries. It’s been far too hot for the cat who keeps complaining to me about the conditions but also insists on wearing a thick fur coat all the time. Fortunately the air-conditioned garden office has meant that it’s business as usual for me and as a result I’ve made this video - enjoy.
I suspect the middle of a heatwave isn’t the most opportune time to put out a YouTube video. In these conditions most people wouldn’t choose to sit in a stuffy room watching a video about an obscure tape format. However it’s also not really the kind of thing you’d watch on your phone in the garden while having a BBQ. As you can see I have my excuses ready for when this video flops. It’s definitely won’t be the fault of the subject, the presenter, or the fact the world has long since moved on from caring about this kind of thing… no it’s definitely the heat.
The video could perhaps benefit from another editing pass, but I decided to just get this first edit out today so I can take a day off tomorrow.
