Boxing Gloves 2025 Alpha are the latest boxing gloves I have been working on for a while.
They are currently untextured and no normal maps are being done until two things happen:
1) I am sure the mesh works right (any changes to mesh can mess up UV maps), and
2) installation of a new SSD into my PC to get extra space.
The second is important because Substance Painter isn't liking the low disk space and I'm going to do that right after I post these.
I made the laces underneath posable so they can be moved around a bit.
I also weight painted so that the hand propagation size could be used to add "meat" to the glove.
It also is a singular UV map so each glove piece can be textured differently.
I have no idea how autofit will work when trying this on Genesis 8 Male, much less how it might work on Genesis 9.
I'm still trying to figure out weight mapping. Just when I think I've figured it out, something doesn't work or the result is garbage. This was an easier project than what I really need to get done (promised item for three years).
Anyway, I don't want to rant. I hope people like these and want to know if it's even worth the effort to do full texturing.
