In which I read you the first half-hour of "Thought-transference (or what?) in birds", Edmund Selous' 1931 book which argues that birds can read each others' minds.

I also weigh in a bit more on the historical context of this theory, and why this guy, wrong as he was, is nonetheless so much cooler than Richard Dawkins.
