Hello you fellow perverted fellows, how are you doing in this fine morning/afternoon/evening? Are you ready for some more news concerning the state of the new update? Then again, why wouldn’t you be? It’s just a PoL, not a lottery winner announcement.
So, the last week’s been pretty busy. I fixed a lot of typos and a few bugs in Update 24, then I had to get it ready for Steam, then I had to come up with a few ideas for update 25, and then only did I start working on it.
The idea is to explore the new dynamic between Cyanna and Rose after the events of the last main quest update at the inn. This should prove pretty interesting to do. For that, the story will take a backseat for the early part of the new update while we focus on the relationship within the Rose-Cyanna-Leto love triangle through a more slife-of-life-ish lense.
We’ll be exploring old locations like the beach or the clothing store (this one was only available in an extra scene, so it’ll be new for some people), and Rose and Cyanna will get sexier civilian outfits, because it’s high time they do. The outfits will be entirely new, not lewdified versions of the existing ones. Leto will also get a new outfit, but I’m not sure if you guys care about that^^
I’ve already finished the clothing store segment + another segment, although I need a few commissions to be done before I can test them.
Now, to address the matter of the currency. Since 2019, my Patreon has always used $ as its base currency and I haven’t changed my prices since then. I was pretty satisfied with that, but the state of the world has become rather… shaky as of late, and the USD’s value keeps dropping and might drop further still. That’s why I was thinking about switching from the US dollar to the euro and changing the prices to roughly match the exchange rate, only slightly higher.
This would translate into marginally higher prices (1€, 4.5€, 8€, 17€, and 26€ instead of 1$, 5$(4,24€ according to today’s exchange rate), 9$(7,63€), 20$(16,96€), and 30$(25,43€)). That means +0,26€ per month for tier 2, +0.37€ for tier 3, +0.04€ for tier 4, and +0.57€ for tier 5 at the current exchange rate. This would help at least slightly catch up with the inflation that’s been going rampant since 2019 as well as the increased artists costs (they’ve increased their rates as well).
