Hello gentlemen and gentlewomen from around the world, I hope you’re having a pleasant morning/afternoon/evening. While you’re sipping on some tea, why not read this week’s progress report as well? High class entertainment for very refined people indeed.
So, to start the PoL with some extremely unexpected report, I worked on the game! I swear I did!... More seriously, I did a good amount of work and finished the first scene + tested it entirely. This ended up being quite long. The idea was to have a bunch of freeroam-length scenes back to back in different contexts, and it ended up being two medium length scenes with some freeroam events in-between all bundled into a rather extensive scene.
I have now started working on the story segment leading to the extra scene and, eventually, to the last scene of the update.
Indeed, rather than one huge update, I decided to cut the content into two smaller updates that might prove easier to digest. After all, there’s still a bunch of content I want to add before the endings. The first update will be more focused on the Cyanna-Rose-Leto trio, and the second one will be more story-oriented. Both of them put together should offer a satisfying conclusion to the main game before branching into the endings.
Besides, I’d forgotten about the TT tournament I need to set up to complete Charlotte’s storyline as well as an optional scene for her, which would require even more work, hence why I decided to split the remaining content into two. The waiting time would have been too long otherwise. I’ll keep the Triple Trident tournament for next update.
