Hello everyone ! How are you doing in this fine morning/afternoon/evening? I’ve personally been hard at work finally concluding the main storyline of HC3, and I added the usual “thank you for playing” announcement at the end of it about 20 minutes ago.
I’ve also finished the last scene and entirely tested it. I’m quite happy with it. Took a while to get it finished, and it includes about 8 different locations. That means all the main content for the new update is entirely done now.
Still, there are a few things I still have to do:
-Fixing a few typos from last update
-Adding 3 freeroam events (I want to get every character for those, so like 1 with Rose&Cyanna, 1 with Lily, 1 with Haylen?)
-Finish up the last mini story
-One last test of the entire update to make sure there are no game breaking bugs
-Finish writing the walkthrough
I should be able to finish these within the week as promised, although you should probably expect the first release during the week end. Hopefully. As always, the situation with artists is a bit shaky. I’m currently working with 4 artists, two focusing on the future and two on HC3’s immediate commissions. One HC3 pixel artist went radio silent last week and I haven’t received their commission due last Monday yet. The other one is hard at work, and I should be able to rely on the people currently working on the new graphics to take over if needed, so commissions for the remaining freeroams shouldn’t be an issue.
Another piece of bad news is that I have yet to receive any news from the portrait artist, so I’m still not sure if the new full body portraits will make it into the game by the first release. I’ll try to hit him up, see if he can give me a rough deadline.
