Hello everyone… the secret is finally out!
I’m currently developing my first interactive project: Myr’s Quest – Rockalicious!, set in the same universe as Mark of the Wild (my comic), starring none other than Myr Kirby, our beloved rock-obsessed alchemist and a true fan favorite in the community.
This visual novel explores part of Myr’s past, taking place at the Aetherstone Academy, a prestigious institution dedicated to the study of rocks and gems. There, Myr completes her studies in lithomancy and gemcraft, alongside new characters, teachers, classmates… and a rival, Cora.
Myr will face a major challenge from her teachers at the academy: discovering and obtaining the mysterious "S.A." Gem. And well… you already know her. She’ll do anything to get her hands on it. From exploring dangerous caves and dungeons with monsters, to persistently persuading orcs and trolls with information using her assets… and even willingly getting herself into spicy situations to achieve her goal (as we've already seen in some parts of MotW). And Cora? This sweet and a lot less experieced rival might end up dealing with the inevitable consequences of Myr’s actions during her trip.
Will there be occasional cameos from the Mark of the Wild comic?? Of course! This will be a super fun and entertaining story, where the funny, chaotic, spicy, and sometimes even cruel situations for our protagonist will depend on the choices you make throughout the story.
This project is also being developed with the support of Team Crisisbeat and its developers. This ultra-talented and experienced team will be in charge of making the magic happen and bringing this game to life! I’ll also have a few additional artists from the team helping me out with the visual assets if I ever want to actually finish this someday hahaha.
I’ll start sharing updates in May, depending on how things flow between commissions, Mark of the Wild comic, and now this visual novel. Your support over the next few months will be key to moving this project forward, helping me cover the costs of programming, artists, and writers involved in bringing it to life.
Your feedback means a lot to me, and I’d love to hear your ideas and suggestions. What would you like to see in the story? Maybe mini-games within the visual novel? I’m all ears!
I really hope this project becomes a big step forward in creating something fun and engaging for everyone, myself included. I’m genuinely excited to share this for the first time and hope it delivers a great experience for all of you. Myr is officially the test subject here, but who knows… maybe Lulusa will be next!
Important note! Since Patreon doesn’t allow to show videos directly in posts, I invite you to download the full demo video from the attachments, it includes extra scenes and dialogue! >:3 ⬇️⬇️⬇️
Thanks so much, everyone :D!
