The moment has finally arrived!
as described in the past few weeks, work on the new client has been going fast - perhaps even faster than we had anticipated - and after several weeks of testing (and stress testing, especially for developers!), we have arrived at having a stable version that is almost 99% complete with everything!
Before the end of the week, Angel Patrons will be officially sent out to test the new version -- this testing period will probably go on for a good month, depending on the results this extensive testing will yield.
Not sure what the "new client" is?
- Standalone: no need to have Overwolf installed
- Improved performance: more responsiveness and better telemetry management
- Less impact on game and system: less FPS dropped, can run totally without overlay, in-game windows have better memory and CPU management
- Without Overlay, can run as a very normal tracker with zero impact on game and system by having less than 2% CPU occupancy and very little RAM occupied!
But have we given up anything? No! The new client does everything the current one does!
* With one exception: Video Capture and Replay will not be available until June.
