Apologies for posting the monthly poll story late two months in a row. October was an extremely busy month for me. Thankfully, my schedule is much clearer for November. Because of this delay, I'll be once again releasing this story publicly at the very end of the month: Sunday, November 30th,

In an alternate timeline where no evil Alter Egos invaded Jabberwock Island, the Neo World Program is working exactly as it intended. Class 77-B is enjoying their tropical island vacation, making good memories and working towards gathering all the Hope Fragments, so that the trip will reach its natural, hopeful end.
During one of Akane and Nekomaru's sparring matches, the Ultimate Athlete ends up taking an absolutely beastly punch which sends her flying against a wall. Though, instead of getting hurt, she slams into the surface with enough force in such a way that it causes a glitch in the physics engine of the NWP, and she ends up coincidentally no-clipping through it, ending up in one of the Program's out of bounds developer rooms... To be more exact, the one managing the avatars of the students.
Confused and lost in an unfamiliar place that spits in the face of her current understanding of the world she’s in, she tries everything she can to get out. In her multiple attempts to find an exit, she winds up managing to up accidentally corrupt the student’s files, redefining every single student as an 'Akane', and acquiring her body and personality.
Certain differences between them are preserved, such as their respective talents, or relationships with the others (For example: Akane Pekoyama protecting Akane Kuzuryu, Akane Nevermind and Akane Tanaka being together, Akane Komaeda somehow still being too intense and unsettling the rest) but they all get her name and body, with their personalities becoming a blend of hers and their own with hers being dominant. All of them end up being completely unaware that a change has even taken place, none of them finding it odd that they all share the same name and appearance despite having no relation to each other. Just a funny coincidence, they suppose..
By the time the original Akane has managed to return to the island, practically everyone else is an Akane. Neither she, nor Chiaki, the only student immune, due to her unique circumstances, have any real problem with the situation; if anything, it makes things proceed more smoothly, and so the field trip continues…
