Hello everyone! Let me just start by apologizing for the delay in the release of the March Poll Stories. (Yes, stories, there was a tie for 1st place and I liked both prompts so much I've decided to write both of them.) The first one is well underway and the second will be written immediately afterwards. That being said, the story poll prompt submissions for April 2026 are still going live. Submissions will be open until 11:59 PM EST on April 9th!
The optional theme for the month is "Fools in April!" submissions include anything Brain Drain and Intelligence Loss related, along with anything appropriately "goofy" like Toonification and Clownification (Which are almost certain to contain some degree of intelligence loss anyway). As always, participation in the theme is not mandatory, but any patron who does submit an on-theme prompt will receive a bonus 500 words of bonus credit when the submission period ends! I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone comes up with!
Thanks to feedback received from my patrons on my Discord server, I will be trying out a new system for running the monthly polls. The period for submitting prompts remains 7 days, but the voting period is now shortened to 3 days. If this goes well, this will be the new norm going forward. It's my home that reducing the time of the election cycle from 14 days to 10, it will make it easier for me to get the stories written and posted in a timely manner within the relevant month.
