DESCRIPTION

Okay, this is hopefully going to be the last time that I agree to write both the first and second place winners of a monthly poll for a while... But, knowing me, I probably won't be able to resist the temptation again at some point. The second story for June's poll is finally done, just in time for July's poll to close, which hopefully won't take nearly as long to write as either this or Snared By the Sea Queen so I can finally get some more work done clearing out my commission backlog. This story still came out to a respectable roughly 15,000 words, quite a lot, but still not anywhere close to the last one.

It could've honestly kept going a lot longer, but I made sure to limit how many little transformation vignettes I would after the "main plot" concluded to just four. At some point in the future, the winner might commission me to write a couple more, since there's so many Danganronpa characters to play around with, and with this story literally being based on everyone's bodies becoming infinitely mutable, the sky is the limit with the scenarios that could play out. This story will be publicly released on August 17th.

While out on a date together to a quite part of Tokyo, Kaede and Shuichi visit a local bookstore, or at least, so it seems. Tucked away in a corner, they find a very strange and clearly very ancient book gathering dust. it seems to call on them to take it home with them, a compulsion that they can’t help but give into. After taking the book back to the Academy, they sit down and begin reading it together. They can’t really make heads or tails of it at first, but that problem doesn’t last long.

Little do they realize that what they’ve found, or rather, what has found them, is no ordinary book. Rather, it’s a grimoire of forbidden and dangerous eldritch power imbued with the essence of distant and incomprehensible beings almost completely forgotten to time until now. As they continue attempting to read it, they find themselves making headway, quickly begin to understand the unnatural language etched into its pages, replacing their own understanding of Japanese in the process, but they don’t pay that any mind.

The contents of the book seem nonsensical, even downright maddening, however, the more they read, the more sense that it begins to make to them. The key word being “to them,” as what it’s really doing is eroding and corrupting their own sense of reality to match that of the book’s enigmatic subject matter. By reading the book, the two allow its dark power to wash over them through its pages, turning the two young lovers into the vessels and new manifestations of the strange beings recorded within.

Even as they become increasingly insane and their bodies twisting into more and more obscene forms, with tentacles, massive tits and asses, multiple cocks, multiple heads, and so on, their conception of “normal” simply changes along with them, keeping up with their changes and keeping them unaware and oblivious to just how much their changing and how wrong it is. Eventually, they sense of normalcy degrades to the point where they see nothing strange with openly fucking each other.

In doing so, they also allow the fell influence of those whom the book was written to invoke to seep into the world, making the environment around them more “normal” by their new standards, and in the process transforming it into a Lovecraftian paradise.

Once again, this story will be released to the public on Thursday, August 13th. Please do not share this story until that time, thank you once again for your support, and enjoy!
