Here you'll find links to my VirtAMate scenes, and Atlyss mods!
First, VaM Scenes:
Pre-Installation
You must have VirtAMate installed to load custom scenes. You can download it from MeshedVR's Patreon and unlocking it with a key. (I recommend subscribing for the highest tier key, to get to customize scenes to your liking!)
You must have VaM Teaser Tier or higher. The free version of VaM disables installation and loading of 3rd party content (this scene)
All scenes require VaM version >= 1.22.0 (as long as you're not on the single 1.21 version that breaks Timeline, and you should be fine)
All scenes are designed to be enjoyed in VR, and on desktop! (Though, it's a lot more fun in VR!)
Installation
Download the scene .zip file from from Mega folder
Unzip the .zip file
Drag and drop the contents into your AddonPackages folder, located within VaM directory.
After opening VaM, you'll see the new scene in the Scene Browser- enjoy!
The following settings should be toggled from default (not just required for my scenes, but for your entire VaM experience):
User Preferences / Misc / Use Legacy World Scale (...) needs to be enabled
User Preferences / Navigation / Show Navigation Hologrid needs to be disabled
Gameplay
Progress is automatically saved for all scenes; You NEVER need to click the ‘save scene’ button (this will break things unless you know what you're doing) Just open and close the scene, and your progress will automatically be loaded and saved on the fly.
Running the scene or selecting a new Save Slot for the first time will show some error messages about "Preset / Textures being unable to be found (...)" - these are expected and you can ignore them.
As always, there’s a ‘panic reset’ button behind the player; which hard reloads the scene and should fix most minor visual bugs or quirky behavior.
