Feeling so deflated about this video I made with Tess. :((( Ironically I was joking with her right before starting about the devastating feeling of filming an entire video only to realize that you never started recording audio. So I was extra careful to make sure that the recording was going before starting, but I didn’t realize that the cable for the mic on my side was only softly plugged in. It didn’t make a full connection, so the entire video has strong audio on Tess’ side and none on my side. SOB. You can hear me through the mic on Tess’ side, in a low-fi kind of way. I’m really not sure what to do about it. I could try re-recording my lines but the lips inevitably mismatching the new audio would be pretty distracting. Or I could try bumping up the volume every time I speak. But that would also bump up the white noise and wouldn’t change the fact that Tess’ audio is so distinctly much crisper and closer. AGHH I’m so so sad about it. A mistake that would’ve taken 2 seconds to fix at the time, ending up costing hours to try to fix is just so heart wrenching. (Would re-film if she lived nearby but this was a one-night-only-tess-opportunity sadly) Also at the time of filming I thought my look was serving dark magic academia but now I feel like it’s giving Linda from HR (ㅠ﹏ㅠ)
