First, I would like to apologize to those who were expecting wallpapers this month. Unfortunately, due to the enormous amount of work I still need to do in order to show you the results in the form of the next game release, I had to put the creation of monthly wallpapers and calendars on hold. I apologize, but every minute counts right now, and distractions from additional work throw me off track and slow down my main work on the game. This pause will last until the release of the new version of the game, and then we will decide what to do next. I hope you understand...
Now, about the work that has been done. This week, I started working on the family home location. Do you remember that big house in the woods with a pool in the backyard, where so many interesting things happened in the previous game? Well, now I need to redo it based on my new quality and style requirements. This needs to be done because there will be much more filming in and around the house this time around.
As usual, my main task will be to redesign it using new materials and fill the location with lots of details and objects. And, of course, I will make sure the lighting is correct and natural, as I have done with all the locations I have already redesigned. Oh, and I almost forgot, with the new vegetation, I will make the surrounding nature simply delightful!
But I will not change the architecture of this location and will also keep all the color schemes. I think this is important for those who have recently played the first game, and the new version of the house should not cause any dissonance in the perception of the house in this game. In total, I need to redo four rooms on the first floor, four rooms on the second floor, plus the second-floor terrace, the front of the house, and the backyard with the pool, as well as the forest surrounding the house. I hope I will be able to show some of what I have already accomplished in the next report.
Also, this week I finished working on a new design for the next girl. It turned out pretty cute, and it seems like I didn't lose the essence of her appearance. But you'll tell me about that tomorrow, so don't miss it!
