Good evening, everyone! I’m happy to share a new game development update with you.

First, I want to talk about how I had to work on Ellen’s visual design. Although she was already quite cute and suited for her role in the game, I had to tweak her appearance a bit to make her fit the new style of the other characters. If you haven’t seen what she looks like now, you can check out the previous post.

Next, I did a massive amount of work—I created 96 images for the movement system in the parents’ house for sandbox mode. It was quite challenging, but the result was worth it. I’ve already added and configured this in the game, programming everything necessary into the game engine’s code.

I’ve also started working on clickable objects and inventory interactions in free-roam mode. It’s still in the early stages; right now I’m working on Dan’s room. But I’m already really liking how it’s turning out, and I think you’ll enjoy this feature. Especially in Dan’s room!

I’ve finished writing the text for the scene with Sam on the terrace, and I have to say it turned out really cool, but also pretty risky—literally on the edge. Although it’s more in line with my previous storytelling style from the first game, and I think it’ll have a big impact on you.

Finally, I’ve written a plan for several new events for the beginning of the game, filling out the first day at your parents’ house. I’ve now brought the number of events here up to 11, and these are the events that will be available to you even before you leave for the new city.

By the way, Angela says hi!

I’m very pleased with how development is progressing, and I’m confident you’ll enjoy the result. I’m continuing to work on new scenes, dialogues, and systems to create the best game possible for you.

Thank you for your support and interest in the game! I’ll keep sharing my progress and updates with you.

Stay tuned!
