Final Shots Have Begun Rendering!

DESCRIPTION

Still a good chunk of work to do, but I've begun rendering out final shots, starting with the opening sequence.

I've learned that it's good practice to start rendering out finals as you continue to work on and animate the rest of the project. If you wait until the end, you're left with hours (if not DAYS) of render time, which becomes rather cumbersome.

Rendering out finals as you continue the work both breaks the rendering time into manageable chunks, and provides a nice "moral boost" as you get to see the project coming together in your editing timeline. 🤌

You can ALSO start working on the little post-production bits, like adding motion blur, color correction, and stuff like that.

Finally, it shows you what has to be re-rendered. In the timeline, I go through and watch the clips, and mark anything that has to be re-rendered with orange.

Sometimes there's more orange than blue, heh. We did pretty well here!

For example, this shot of Ashley has her boobs move in a way that's just a tad bit unnatural (they take too long to swing, and come to rest too early).

Sometimes this stuff isn't totally apparent until you render it out, so you get a better sense of the work that lies ahead, and you can plan around it.

And yes, the boobies have been fixed!

Back soon! ❤️
