Ok... maybe the title was too much, but I'm drudging along with the comic. July / August has been brutal with my time. Between my job and side projects, the comic unfortunately had to take a back seat for a bit. Now I'm trying to get back into it again. FINALLY.Above is another shot of the hangar. You may recall that I did this shot many years ago in Volume 2. Looking back on it, I found it interesting that even then, there has been art evolution with my lighting and shading. The hangar is a 3D blender model, but I can't cut corners on rendering!The Volume 2 scene was also done in the afternoon, while the latest one is in the morning. I'm hoping I captured that "morning feeling" with the latest shot. I also punched the exposure more than I'm used to, giving the sun that blinding look. It's always interesting revisiting the same place, keeping track of where the sun was from the LAST time I was here haha.
