I've recently come across a FASCINATING movie artifact from the mid-60s, a film called "Billie" that's based on a play about a girl who wants to try out for the boys' football team. Not only is it an oddly modern concept (including its depiction of stuffy adults who are OUTRAGED by the idea of youngsters challenging gender roles) ... it also has a surprisingly gay cast, especially when you look at other adaptations of the same play. So in this week's bonus video, we're looking at just how gay it is, and asking ... "what the heck?"
Also: Just a heads-up that I'm chugging away on a video for you, but this one's going to take a little while longer because I need to talk to a lawyer for this one. More info about all that coming soon!
