I want to share a transparent update regarding Zippers and the current production timeline.
My original rollout plan for this phase didn’t come together the way I intended. A combination of early organizational missteps and some faulty assumptions about timing created a ripple effect that stalled the execution phase. Rather than forcing the project forward in a rushed or compromised state, I’ve decided to pause, recalibrate, and approach it properly.
Zippers will now launch on March 20th (the third Friday of the month).
This adjustment gives me the space to:
Finalize the script with clarity and intention
Complete clean, structured sketches
Finish the comic at the quality level I expect from myself
I take pride in this series. It’s not something I want to push out just to hit a date. Delivering a half-rushed comic would do more harm than delaying it a few weeks to get it right.
Over the next week, I’ll be stepping back briefly to reset and refocus. I’ll still be drawing and organizing during that time, but the goal is to rebuild momentum in a sustainable way so the next release feels strong, not strained.
Zippers isn’t cancelled. It’s not abandoned. It’s being built properly.
