This mod was realised in cooperation with the Japanese VERUS distributor RK-ONLINE.
By using VERUS aerodynamic data and model data, we have tried to reproduce more realistic aerodynamic characteristics.
VERUS graphs aerodynamic characteristics by performing CFD calculations.
I have quantified the results and repeated the tests on the Asset Corsa.
The data includes the weight of aero parts, changes in weight distribution and the reproduction of the position where downforce is applied.
The VERUS Aero produces powerful downforce, with a maximum value of over 190 kg.
However, in order to gain downforce, aerodynamic drag has to be sacrificed, meaning that the maximum speed is significantly reduced.
Therefore, we looked for a setting that would allow the car to run faster in medium and high speed corners rather than in a straight line.
The resulting setting exhibits ideal weak understeer and allows for consistently fast times.
