Hello folks and welcome to another progress report.
I've been getting some very poor sleep this past week but the Mass Effect comic is coming along. As I alluded to last week I've decided to rework some of the chapter order and have thus had to adapt the script, but I like how this flows significantly better than what it was before. The next "main character" for a chapter will be a small surprise, so I'm keeping the lid on that for now, but it's in the works.
Lulu's project remains halted while I work with physics cage experimentation. It's finicky to get working and to make it look right, but through the might of guides and tutorials I am finding my way forward - a lot of them however rely on... smaller areas of physics so to speak, and it turns out when meshes overlap (such as when you have two, massive breasts) it makes for an extremely finicky, annoying tasks to weight paint for the damn vertex groups and it's easy when you're tired to forget to create safety copies and thus have to start over again when you mess up. It's coming along, even if it's frustrating, and I'm convinced it will save me a lot of time during animation once I've got it in working order, so losing some Thursdays to this will be worth it in the end.
Wednesday animations are currently dedicated towards a larger Final Fantasy VII scene, so it's taking its sweet time getting it sorted while having to rely on cycles rendering. It's coming along nicely though so I'm hoping it won't eat up too many Wednesdays as I'd like to move on to other ideas I've got.
Queen Marika (Elden Ring) won this month's Scenario vote, so we'll once again have some royal action coming up. Animating this will as always eat up the coming two weekends, with an expected release sometime between the 27th and the 30th.
