So what is different here? Well, all of the Reach/Capellan March (periphery) is the Capellan Confederation. All of the Aurigan Coalition as its own commonality. Two-thirds of the canon Lyran Sarna March is still part of the confederation as Tikonov Commonality, leaving aside only ~25 worlds from before the Third Succession War. All of Pre-Third Succession War's St. Ives Commonality. The entire Duchy of Andurien as the Andurien Commonality. Domestically, this shows a major reversal of losses the Capellan Confederation suffered over the entire Third and Fourth Succession War.
On top of this, the confederation is part of the Kapteyn Accords. At the same time, the confederation has a separate military alliance with the Taurian Concordat. ComStar is working with Capellan Confederation on multiple levels. Diplomatically, They are the Blue Donut.
The Clans seem at a glance like there is no difference between here and canon 3052. However, if you overlay the map, you'll see that the Smoke Jaguars are almost all gone, holding only what are basically periphery worlds, and Clan Jade Falcon holds less than half of what they do in canon. Wolf and Ghost Bear have made up for it, mostly by not being the main force the FedCom and Kapteyn had to fight initially. However, the loss of Smoke Jaguar's forces and the nuke-happy (if in space) Lyran attacks have limited advances into the Lyran Commonwealth and the Draconis Combine, thus narrowing their presence on the map.
