The first time I saw this movie, it changed me. It's so outrageous in all the right ways. It was exactly my kind of weird. Kinda similarly to the first time I saw Tim Robinson's style of comedy. Something about it just clicked with me. ☺️
The day after I watched Blood Diner for the first time, I went to Chicago with some friends to see Young Widows & Emma Ruth Rundle perform & to get my very 1st tattoo. 💉
I didn't know what I wanted for my tattoo. Once I got to the shop, I knew it had to be a vhs tape. Tape collecting & watching had been my main hobby for years. So it only seemed right. 📼
But what title would I put on this special vhs tattoo of mine. Only one title came to mind. The insane movie I had watched the night before & couldn't stop thinking about. 😄
Thus, my Blood Diner VHS tattoo was born. It's really not bad for a first tattoo. There are definitely some things I would change if I could but I'm still pretty happy with it & still adore that weird little movie very much. 🤓
One day I will actually own it on VHS. "Oh yes... She will be mine.." (Wayne's World, anyone? 😜) but until that day, I still have my own unique copy with me always. 🥰
