The DC Short.
I've released a two-part documentary series, The DC Short, which you can watch on Patreon, ad-free and with subtitles here (Part 1, Part 2)
I did a brief write-up on what real-world economists and experts thought about it (whom I had consulted throughout the production of the docu-series)
In the interim, I also broke the story of how Vanguard National Bank—the bank highlighted in Part 2—lost US$345,000 in virtual currency (D$850M) to a single high frequency trader and the ensuing saga that followed The DC Short's publication
The videos seem to have gained traction on X/Twitter (hello and thanks to any Basil followers who are reading this!)
I've also received a lot of positive feedback about the docu-series in general, so thank you to everyone who has taken the time to write to me (kind words do mean a lot to me!)

I've mostly concluded research and I'm currently writing the script for my next video (which—spoiler—won't be Part 3 of The DC Short—as the events are still going on!)
