This might be one of my dumber comics but (to me at least), it has the same energy as that scene from the Simpsons when Marge is comforting Homer and says “kids can be so cruel”, Bart overhears and says “we can? Thanks Mum!”
Now I’m going to vent about Jackson Pollock for a moment. Not really about him but when I was a child I went on an excursion (field trip) to an art museum. Works by Jackson Pollock were featured and while looking at his Blue Poles piece our guide asked us what we thought of the piece, “no wrong answers.” So I said I the poles made me feel like I am in jail (remember I am a little child) and there is a big party with fireworks on the other side. I couldn’t articulate the feeling of exclusion I was getting from the piece. But the guide said “uh … no” and quickly asked someone else what they thought.
