Colt
DESCRIPTION

After riffing on Jim French's "Longhorns" for one of my TFS badges, I look a little deep dive into his work, and found that much of it was published under the name "Rip Colt," the same name that he co-founded Colt Studio under! In my search for more of his art, I discovered this piece (I wish I knew the title!), an excerpt from The Colt Album, and was so taken with the posing, power dynamics, and stylistic choices (The extreme shading on the hands toward the bottom of the composition, in particular), that I had to try it on myself! And what better trio to throw into the mix than our beloved polycule? They're not usually ones for impact play, but hey, always fun to try new things! :)

This, as it stands, is incomplete, in the sense that I think the end product is a physical print! Was gonna go hunting for some interesting, highly textural paper, something to echo the wear and texture of the original, and perhaps make a single color risograph print, either with black or burgundy!
