As our first dip into wargaming, we're excited to be able to participate alongside such a talented group of artists & the great folks at OPR. You have three warbands to look forward to that are the quintessential TGM food groups -- aka, goblins, orcs, and slimes. 😉 While there might be a couple familiar faces, there are a ton of new sculpts. We hope that you like them as much as we did making them.
The Order of the Worg
The Order of the Worg are a band of Goblin Knights who specialize in fighting astride their mighty war worgs. The most powerful beasts are designated as the mounts of the Captains and Lancers, while smaller worgs find use pulling the Wardrummers' war chariots. Knights who have yet to earn their own worg assist by providing defense as armored Spearman or ranged Arbalists. The Goblin Knights charge in atop their ferocious beasts to pierce the frontline of their enemies and pick off the weak as they are scattered.
The Queen's Warband
The Queen’s Warband are an elite sisterhood of might sworn to the service of Queen Vashka. They have all proven their worth in battle and earned the highest honor of fighting as the queen's hand, destroying those that threaten her territory. Her heavily armored Warriors are the front line and are supported by her Axe-throwers, and when they are not enough, the fearsome Berserker is unleashed. And lastly at the queen's side is her warcaster, a matchless Shaman whose hexes and spells both assist her sisters and hinder her enemies.
The Slime Forger
Deep in her dungeon of ooze, Lady Visc constructs piles of sticky monstrosities. Born from the marriage of sludge and bone, her slime creatures come to life to serve their monstrous madam. Necro Slime Golems are the powerhouses of her minions. They bash and break any intruders to her dungeon and use the scraps to fuel more for her army. The remnants of mages can be forged into Crystal Slime Golems that stretch and slice anything in range. From the scraps of her forge, new slimes grow. Fresh and hungry, the Chargers swarm weaker adventurers while Spitters dissolve them from afar. Even the crushed and defeated remnants of her creations can be reforged time and time again in a never ending cycle of undeath.
The launch is on May 12 on MyMiniFactory's Frontiers. People who sign up to follow the project on MMF will get these 2 free OPR models (Ratman Storm Veteran and Human Defense Force Veteran):
