In fifth place, we have Nayvro with the Goblin Gardener! The gardener has managed to sow the seeds of love in our heart with Nayvro's rendition of her. We loved how the shadows were handled on her, especially the harsh shadows casted on her face and the pot. That little shine on her eyes and nose truly give her a spark of life! ✨
In fourth, we have Christo Rammos with Aphrodite the Huntress!The paint job on this beloved huntress is so crisp and clean that she looks like it could be used for a box art! We especially loved how the skin and scale mail turned out!
In third, we have Juhmo with the Bomb Goblin!They showcased a great example of well-done lighting with this paint job of the Bomb Goblin. There's a lot to admire with how the subtle OSL of the fire/fuse extended throughout the mini, casting on her bombs, legs, stomach, and even the side of her hand. We also loved the shading on the goggles!
In second, we have QuellUomo with Kijo the Oni Barbarian!We love all the attention to detail on this paint job of Kijo. The club and pieces of metal throughout the model were painted in a way that hints at all the wear-and-tear it's been through, the beads look like they could be glass, and each clump of hair was given its due attention. Plus, red is a hard color to paint with (iykyk!) and QuellUomo absolutely nailed it with her skin!
And coming in first, we have krux_painting with their Wizard of Forbidden Spells!This mini already has a lot of personality, but Krux managed to imbue even more with their paint job! Not only is it a solid paint job, but we LOVED how the OSL helped sell the mood of this mini, turning him from a goofy guy to a menacing-looking wizard!
