Without further ado:
In fifth place, we have lespinceauxdejulien with Tenko the Monk!So much to love about this rendition of Tenko! We were big fans of the crisp freehand on his pants as well as the amazing hair shading/highlights!
In fourth place, we have swordstoplow with the Necro Slime Golem!I don't think anyone can argue that this rendition of the slime golem is SICK (in the good way, of course 😉). Shading is great and donning my color theory hat, the purple-toned bones complement the sickly yellow-green slime so well.
In third place, we have Big Mek Morker with Knock the Goblin Brawler!Mek has one of the most unique and recognizable painting styles that uses a cool comic outline/Borderlands pop. But even under that, you can see great NMM, skin tone blending, and maybe the cutest eyes we've seen yet.
In second place, we have Recterino with Cesti the Goblin Archer!Not ony were we treated to a beautifully painted mini, but also a lovely diorama/backdrop! Recterino's highlights are nothing short of incredible, and we're in awe of his attention to detail.
And our first place winner is Nayvro with Jenzi the Barbarian!We loved this paint job of Jenzi! We've always considered red to be one of the hardest colors to paint yet Nayvro has managed to make it look easy. And then when you look at all the other details, from NMM to eyes to the different fabrics/materials and everything in between, this is truly an amazing job paint job worthy of first place!
