Ben and Becki begin recruitment by paying a visit to the local gear heads, Jay and Casey. Ben sends his pet demoness to show Jay that the path of enlightenment might require pain and sacrifice but the reward is too delicious to resist.
Hi all! Originally this chapter was going to feature an ending that resolves the dangling issue of Ben/Casey that's introduced at the start. Ben was going to have flubbed his attempt to seduce and simply decapitated his potential recruit as a sort of brutal joke. However, after writing that, I thought that Ben had been thwarted several times already and that it didn't play that well. So I sent that part back to the drawing board and reworked Becki/Jay a bit instead. Happy Reading!
