This major update brings a massive overhaul to the Trigger system, improved performance with lazy loading, and introduces stylish new Actor Themes!
π¨ New Visuals & Customization
β¨ Two New Actor Themes
Scope: Darkens the background to dramatically emphasize the character and logo. Perfect for dramatic reveals!
Blitz (L/R): A dynamic, skill-cut-in style effect. Available in Left and Right variations.
Position Adjustment: You can now adjust the Y-axis for all actor themes. The Blitz theme also supports X-axis adjustment for perfect positioning.
ποΈ Global Style Templates
Save & Load: Introduced the "Global Style" feature. You can now save your customized styles as templates and load them instantly for other characters or settings.
All-Out Attack Customization: You can now customize the text color and shadow color for both the Center Message and Sub Message in All-Out Attacks.
Scale Limit: Character image scaling limit has been increased to 20, giving you significantly more freedom to customize your cut-in visuals.
β‘ Enhanced Triggers & Automation
π₯ Item Trigger Overhaul
Multiple Triggers: You can now set additional triggers for a single item.
Per-Trigger Presets: Each trigger can have its own independent Cut-in Preset, allowing for varied animations based on the situation.
π§ Smarter Detection & Workflow
Universal Roll Monitoring: Greatly enhanced the Chat/Roll monitoring system. Both Actor and Item Triggers can now accurately detect text patterns and rolls across most systems to activate triggers.
Context Menu Hints: Right-click on a chat message to access a new Context Menu that provides "Hint" values for Actor and Item triggers, making setup much easier.
Note: This hint feature may not appear for midi-qol or certain specific systems. However, midi-qol users need not worryβfull compatibility is ensured via internal system hooks!
Special Triggers (DnD 5e / PF1 / PF2): Added a "Special Trigger" feature for systems with massive spell lists. You can now apply Cut-in Presets to Spells in bulk!
π οΈ Optimization & UI Improvements
π Performance Boost
Optimized Loading: The Cinematic Cut-in Control window no longer loads all actors at once. It now uses a filter (PC/NPC) and lazy loading to significantly improve performance and load times.
π» UI Polish
CSS Unification: Adjusted CSS to ensure visual consistency between V12 and V13 settings windows.
π Bug Fixes
Theme Shadows: Fixed an issue where character shadow attributes were not applying correctly to Phantom, Arcane, and Voltage themes.
System Compatibility: Fixed an issue where actors were not displaying in the Control window for PF1 and systems using similar CSS. (Huge thanks to SilverDragon for the fix! π²)
