A Story from a Certain World Line The Revival of Team ASCII Art
(I started doing something I should’ve done long ago)
(tl note: there’s a bunch of things here those unfamiliar with Japan’s meme culture won’t understand, so just skim over those.)
In a space resembling the cyberspace of the Internet, the figures of three creatures appeared.
One was a character with a head like a white steamed bun.
Another was a character with a head like a white steamed bun and a pig-like nose.
And the last was a tall character whose head looked like the second white steamed-bun-like head stretched vertically.
All of them, with appearances resembling mascot characters that seemed vaguely familiar from somewhere in the vast corners of the internet, were avatars of virtual streamers who were popular only among a certain subset of people on a video streaming site.
“Long time no see, everyone! I'm Virtual Dekiruo.”
“I'm Virtual Yaruo -dao!”
“I'm Virtual Yaranaio -daro! Were you lonely while you couldn't see us?”
The three each performed brisk cross-steps, then flashed refreshing smiles and gave thumbs-ups toward the audience beyond the screen.
At that moment, the listeners who had been waiting for the stream to begin welcomed them with warm comments.
【Kondeki】【You're here】【Kondeki】【Kondeki~!】【!?】【?】【!?!?】【There's something here!?】
Narrowing their eyes at the stream of text flowing across the window, the three virtual streamers nodded happily.
The number of viewers recorded in the stream greatly exceeded what they had expected. Representing them, Dekki, also known as Virtual Dekiruo, the owner of the channel, offered his thanks.
“Thank you very much. Wow, this stream was sudden, but all of you gathered! I suppose this is a testament of our virtue through persistent activity.”
“Indeed! It wouldn't be an exaggeration to call us the advisors* of the FS fan community now, -o!” (tl note: in this context, “A person with extensive experience and knowledge who doesn't hesitate to express their opinions and offer advice , even to those in positions of authority.”)
“No, that would logically be an exaggeration -daro.”
“Of course, a large part of it is probably because the movie itself was so wonderful! Especially the latter half had a huge amount of information, so everyone must be dying to talk about it.”
“Yaruo wants to talk about it too -dao! Mea-chan, Arisu-chan, and Eight-chan were all cute -o!”
“Alright then, let's get right into it -daro! Here we go!”
““Ded-ded-dededede!””
The three creatures performed an unnecessarily sharp dance like Choo Choo Train* on the screen, then lined up from left to right as Dekiruo, Yaruo, and Yaranaio and struck seated poses. (tl note: by Fantastics)
At that instant, a hanging decorative ball suddenly appeared above their heads and split open, and a celebration-like arrangement, glowing letters appeared like a pachinko machine, reading: “Fairy Savers ∞ The Movie ── Old Men’s Impression Meeting”
At their behavior, the listeners all immediately chimed in with retorts.
【Wait】【Wait】【Don't forget Kaan】【Don't continue seamlessly】【Who's that guy!?】【There are people I know but don't know...】【The three of them felt so much like the usual that I couldn't tell what was strange】【(I thought I'd missed the previous stream...)】【90% of the viewers are fixated on the two people who suddenly appeared and aren't noticing the old-fashioned effects in the background】
“? Virtual Yaruo is Virtual Yaruo -dao.”
“I'm the familiar Virtual Yaranaio -daro, logically.”
“No, this is your debut, you know? Even I got so familiar with you and ended up proceeding as if it were business as usual.”
Two individuals joining as though they were always part of a usual trio, without any introduction whatsoever, was a perfectly justified sense of incongruity.
They were volunteers who had participated in this stream through babi?niku* at the arrangement of the person inside Virtual Dekiruo, and they each bore the names of the legendary heroes of internet circles, Yaruo and Yaranaio. (tl note: a Japanese term for an online avatar depicting an anime-style female character used by content creators who are often male, though some female content creators also refer to themselves as babiniku)
Displaying composure in their speech that hardly seemed fitting for a streaming debut, they finished brief self-introductions with an air of nonchalance.
【Virtual YaruYara... it was completed...】【The modeling is still unnecessarily elaborate lol】【Why isn't it Ikanaio-san, damn it】【Rather, the weird thing is that Dekki had been doing this alone until now, thinking about it logically】【What kind of group are the three of you?】
Even the listeners, who were accustomed to Virtual Dekiruo's eccentric behavior, had not anticipated the sudden appearance of two new members without any announcement. In response to the naturally arising questions in the comments, the three, having no particular reason to hide anything, answered honestly.
“We've been friends since our student days.”
“Yeah, that's the kind of relationship it is -daro. Thinking of it as a longstanding connection*.” (tl note: "a relationship that you can't break away from even if you try")
“All three of us were classmates, so Fairy Savers is from our generation -dao!”
All of them had originally been acquainted in real life. Because they had been friends for many years, all three responded to one another instantly, and, perhaps because they understood each other's roles, they handled the comments in a practiced manner.
【So that's why you needed three people this time!】【A stream where three men in their thirties just gather and talk about anime is good!】【They don't have the glamour you'd expect from Vtubers, but it's amazing that they still draw a crowd】
“Exactly! I invited these two fully prepared for this stream to bomb.”
“You invited us yourself──that's awful, thinking about it logically...”
“Yaruo was happy -dao! I never thought the person inside Dekki was someone I knew.”
“There is no person inside, Yaruo-san.”
“Ah, yes.”
However, it was only recently that Virtual Dekiruo informed his real-life friends about the streams he was doing. More specifically, the trigger had been when, while talking about their impressions of the movie at a bar, the person inside Dekiruo carelessly let it slip.
And in those circumstances, his identity ended up being revealed, but since they were close friends who already knew each other's tastes inside and out, there was nothing particularly troublesome about being found out, and thus led to the idea: “Why not rope the other two in as well?”──which led to this stream.
“With that said, on today’s Dekki Channel, together with our two guests, we'll be spending the stream chatting away in a harmonious manner about the massively successful anime film Fairy Savers ∞ Nightmare Reincarnation! Let me emphasize this: this stream contains substantial spoilers for the movie, so viewers who haven't seen it yet, turn around and leave! Hurry to the theater!”
“If it's a late show, you can still make it -dao!”
“It was the ultimate movie that let us long-time fans finally rest in peace -daro! If you’re a fan who has watched the anime series, seeing it through is only natural, thinking about it logically!”
“...When you two praise it while putting your arms around each other's shoulders, it kind of looks like one of those promotions.”
【YaruYara is justice】【lol】【I went to see it on opening day, thinking about it logically】【I've already seen it three times】【I've never watched the anime series, but I'm interested in the ponytail protagonist girl and the phantom thief girl from the narration, so I'm wondering if I should go see it. Can someone like me watch the movie?】【Yes, you can! (smile)】【← Honestly, I think it'd be tough if you haven't watched the main story】【Since it's a sequel, you should at least watch ∞】【They briefly reviewed the main story at the opening, so I think you'd be able to follow the story】
The Dekki Channel mostly streamed content related to Fairy Savers, and naturally the purpose of this stream was also discussion of that anime.
The movie released just the other day, Fairy Savers ∞ Nightmare Reincarnation. Having already finished watching it, Virtual Dekiruo and the other two started this stream because they wanted to share the overflowing pathos they had felt in the theater with their listeners.
And his friends, Virtual Yaruo and Virtual Yaranaio, had also watched the movie with their families, which made them recall the otaku spirit they had possessed in their youth. Riding that momentum and seeing it as a good opportunity, they enthusiastically agreed to help him.
As an aside, when faced with those two friends, the person inside Dekiruo reportedly shed tears of being deeply moved and exchanged high-fives with them, declaring, “This is amazing...! The revival of Team ASCII Art!”
Incidentally, Yaruo's wife and Dekiruo's lover, both of whom knew them from their youth, wore expressions that were difficult to describe as they watched the scene unfold… but setting that aside.
It was an unmistakable fact that the existence of the anime Fairy Savers was one of the things that had colored their youth.
And now, here they were casually chatting about its latest installment.
“Ahh, speaking of which, it seems this movie has been drawing in quite a lot of newcomers thanks to the key visual and the trailers -daro. A junior coworker at my workplace was interested in it too.”
“Today’s Fairy Savers looks beautiful on screen. Mea-chan becoming the protagonist is a big factor, I guess -dao? The regular cast has become much more colorful, and for old fans like us, it brings up a lot of feelings -dao.”
Compared to the older Fairy Savers, perhaps the most noticeable thing was the large number of charming heroine characters, beginning with the protagonist herself.
As the two talked about Mea's popularity among the public, as if he had been waiting from the beginning, Virtual Dekiruo suddenly produced a placard from somewhere.
Holding up the placard, which read "Topic: Protagonist", for the viewers to see, he continued the discussion.
“Alright then, let's start by talking about our impressions of the new protagonist, Mea-chan, also known as Mitsui Mea! What did everyone think!?”
【Mea’chan’s become strong...】【She was even more of a protagonist than expected】【She was cute】【Heroine and protagonist at the same time】【She made for a great transformation heroine on the big screen】【I was worried she'd get overshadowed once En and Eight showed up, but she stayed the protagonist from beginning to end, so 200 points】【I hate to say it, but she was sexy】
“She was sexy”──the moment that blunt comment entered their field of vision, all three of them raised their brows awkwardly and shook their head vigorously in agreement.
“That's exactly it... I get it. I really, really get it!!”
“Ah... yeah, right...”
“There were a lot of scenes that thrilled you in various ways and drew your attention -dao.”
In her short school skirt, she flew freely through the sky, tussling and getting into perilous situations.
To be honest, even these healthy men in their thirties had various thoughts while watching her action scenes.
Yes──she really was sexy. Mea-chan, now a high school student.
“There's been talk that her panties were visible during the Tsubasa chase scene, but did any of you notice? I've already gone to see it three times, but I couldn't see them no matter what.”
“...How is that the first impression you bring up, thinking about it as a children's anime?”
“My listeners are all unhealthy, so it's safe!”
“I went to see it with my daughter, but even Yaruo didn't know where to look -dao. Unlike Eight-chan, she wears a short skirt and then goes flying around everywhere... Though if I'd gone alone, I probably would've stared intently.”
“Ahh, according to an interview with Demon King-sama, the design for movie Mea-chan was intentionally conceived to be a counterpart to Eight-chan. As part of that, whereas Eight wears a long skirt, Mea wears a mini.”
“As expected of Demon King-sama...”
“Even though they don't draw manga anymore, their old sharpness hasn't dulled at all -dao...”
【Really?】【Demon King-sama is horny?】【I'm disappointed... I'm quitting being a Dekki fan】【Couldn't see it (Itakura-like impression)*】【The panty-shot thing is probably an clever rumor spread by the production side, thinking about it logically】【I went to see it five times to verify, but I couldn't see it】【Something you can see but can't see】【She used a lot of foot techniques like Eight-chan, but her defense was impregnable, damn it!】【She moves too fast】【They don't show panties, but they showed plenty of thighs, and it was wonderfully improper】【Baruo’s a parent?】【I thought I couldn't look at her that way because she's a character I've watched over since she was a little girl, but that wasn't the case at all!】(tl note: a famous line from Daijiro Itakura of Toyotama High School in Slam Dunk, who, after bumping into someone, said, “Couldn't see you (because you're so small)”)
Virtual Dekiruo had said before that because she was a character he had watched over since childhood, he inevitably ended up viewing her from a guardian's perspective, perhaps because of his age, but it felt as though the creator of Fairy Savers, the one responsible for the character designs, nicknamed Demon King-sama, had deliberately toyed with that aspect of the audience's mentality and made them feel a sense of guilty pleasure.
A professional──Even he, as a fan work creator himself, was shaken by that technique.
“Speaking of sharpness, the animation in the battle scenes was incredibly sharp from beginning to end! It was already high quality in the TV series, but the movie buff took it to an absurd level.”
“There are probably quite a few boys whose first love is Mea-chan -daro. To think that little Mea-chan grew up so much... Wait, I'm ending up with the same impression as Tsubasa, thinking about as an adult.”
“She was cool, cute, and fleeting... She was a different type of protagonist from En, and it felt refreshing somehow -dao. Also, form changes really are the noble path for sequel protagonists -dao!”
【In the TV series, being the first love hunter was Eight-chan’s role】【Liger Zero Mea-chan*】【I thought it was a Heisei Rider, but it turned out to be a Heisei Mothra】【The three-colored ribbons were incredibly active】【According to the drama CD, they were gifts from Hod and Chesed, but to think the white one was Keter...】【Since orange was Hod and blue was Chesed, it was a reasonable prediction that white would be Keter, but Keter's feelings toward his daughter were heavier than I expected】(tl note: Liger Zero can swap armor sets and transform into different specialized forms, and Heiser Mothra can transform into Aqua Mothra and Armored Mothra )
“Right, that surprised too -dao! Yaruo never thought Keter had that side to him -dao.”
“You wouldn't think he'd actually have normal affection after the way he acted in the TV series.”
Because she had matured and gained a stronger feminine impression, the movie emphasized the changes Mea had undergone since the TV series.
And just like her, the feelings of the people around her had also changed in various ways, making those scenes deeply memorable for viewers who had watched her grow up.
Especially the feelings of Keter, who, as a "King," had always been cold toward Mea in the main story.
Her expression and words when she confronted him head-on felt like the crux of this movie.
“Keter probably gained some breathing room after Daat and Charon came back. That said, from his daughter's perspective, he's still the lousy father who always gets in the way at the crucial moments.”
“She finally got angry, didn't she... Mea-chan.”
“Movie Mea-chan was such a good person that I was worried she'd still show her panties while making a troubled face if you got on your knees and begged hard enough, but I was relieved that she properly got angry when it was time to speak up -dao.”
“That's a terrible example, thinking as the father of a child...”
“But Yaranaio thought so too, right?”
“Yeah! Because, come on... You all thought so too, right?”
【I strongly agree】【I get it】【Haven't heard 'I strongly agree' in a long time】【The people here are all calamities from a bygone age】【If you say that, then YaruYaraDeki too】【Yaruo threads are still going strong, JK】【Understoop】【Eight agrees too】【← Eight-chan wouldn't say that】
“...It seems our interpretation of Mea-chan's character in that regard was a shared understanding.”
“The character profile in the pamphlet clearly states that 'being a pushover is her flaw,' and that's already enough -dao!”
“The books would get thinner*, thinking about it logically.” (tl note: meaning “thin books (mostly erotic books) will get written.”)
“W-well, in Mea-chan's case, the people around her are guarding her properly, so a development like the one Yaruo-san mentioned could never happen, so that's reassuring.”
“The terror of knowing that if anyone did anything weird to her, the strongest brother in the human world and the strongest father in the holy beast world would come flying over immediately.”
While these grown adults seriously reflected on such meaningless matters, they each freely talked about Mitsui Mea, the protagonist of the story and its heroine.
And from the flow of that conversation naturally came the existence of the key figure of the movie.
“In that respect, compared to us evil old men, how pure the fallen angel of Greysphere── Riin──the key person of this movie was.”
【I love that Riin-kun from the theater trailer who looked so obviously evil】【He was just a good kid】【It was good oneshota】【The will of oneshota is inherited...】【Eight-chan really was the evangelist of oneshota!】【It's a good thing Riin didn't have wicked thoughts like ours】【He was the biggest trailer deception* in this work】【The kid thought to be the final boss but turned out to be an opening act of an opening act】【Well, Keter and this kid stood out more than the final boss, so it's fine!】(tl note: previews of upcoming episodes that take the form of some kind (like a movie trailer), but whose content, in part or in whole, is a lie or a joke.)
The grey fallen angel reborn by Greysphere, whose previous life had been the Abyssal Qlippoth Adyeshach.
The name Mea gave that boy was Riin. They understood that the theme of this work was to truly reincarnate him and bless him.
“Man, as expected of the official release! The concept was similar to the Abyss reincarnation fan novel I was planning to write, but the oneshota was on a completely different level from anything I could write! The only regret is that there wasn't much interaction with Eight-chan, but we got to see fresh oneshota with Mea-chan, so it's fine! Overall, 120 points!”
“You get creepy whenever the topic turns to oneshota.”
“He’s always creepy, thinking about it logically. ...Though I do understand the feeling. Older women really are nice.”
“So you're the same type, huh.”
His dialogue with Mea felt like the culmination of the theme of "mutual forgiveness" that had remained consistent throughout the main story.
As though reliving the emotion that had made him tremble in the theater, Virtual Dekiruo raised a shaking fist.
“Including her dialogue with Riin, Mea-chan really performed like a protagonist, with furious efforts throughout the movie.”
“Yaranaio, the thing.”
“Don't treat me like your assistant, thinking about it logically...”
Prompted by Virtual Yaruo's elbow, Virtual Yaranaio held up a placard listing the protagonist's accomplishments in this work, including her dialogue with Riin.
Everyone looked at it and deeply shared their thoughts.
“List of Things Mea-chan Did in This Movie
Suppress terrorists
Attend class
Get shown some kind of nightmare
Sent a stalker flying (Tsubasa)
First contact with the new enemy Greysphere
Guide residents’ evacuation (or rather, become discouraged because she ended up getting in the way)
Dialogue with Riin
Resolution with Riin
Resolution with Keter
Final attack on the final boss (Sheriruth)”
“As expected of the protagonist, she was on screen almost continuously from beginning to end -dao.”
“When you look at it like this, it's amazing they managed to fit all this into one movie, along with everything Eight-chan and En's group were doing.”
“I also wrote up the Eight version of this, but she was even busier -daro...”
“We can talk about that as much as we want later. Eight-chan did all sorts of things this time too.”
【So much to do...!】【Eight-chan worked really hard behind the scenes】【Teleportation is way too overpowered after all】【The scene where Mea-chan got depressed because she was too famous and ended up hindering the evacuation was pitiful but cute】【If I saw Mea-chan flying, evacuation would be the last thing on my mind】【Weren't some of the evacuees trying to peek under her skirt in that scene?】【← Is this true?】【I'm disappointed... I'll destroy the Human World】【Nice one, Keter】
“With how much of a doting parent Keter is now, he might actually do that seriously...”
“No, but I think Mea-chan being too careless is also a problem -dao... She's more sensitive than anyone to malicious intent, yet she doesn't realize people are looking at her that way.”
“Part of it’s a precarious balance because she's ridiculously strong herself. Though after this, the townspeople may have learned that she's scary when she gets angry.”
In hindsight, being one of the movie's themes, in the anime's main story, the emotion of "anger" had been depicted as a negative emotion that caused power to run wild, but in this work it was portrayed positively as a method of communication for clearly conveying one's feelings to another person.
The final push that Mitsui Mea needed to awaken was also the intense "anger" toward her father that she had never been able to express because of her innate kindness.
【Rainbow Mea-chan was strong】【It was funny that shield bashes, headbutts, and kicks worked better than the sword】【During the Keter fight, her lines made it seem like she wasn't used to being angry, which was cute, but her stare was incredible and really scary】【Her fighting style after awakening was strong-style* and entertaining】【She looked beautiful, but I wondered if she'd fallen into darkness, though seeing Eight-chan happy reassured me】【Eight and Akari getting excited on the sidelines. Charon-sama helplessly pacing around her post with a worried expression. Kabbalah-chan looking proud】(tl note: Antonio Inoki’s "Strong Style")
“I like that scene because everyone's personality came through.”
“Yaruo too.”
“Come to think of it, Eight and Akari knew each other?”
“Ahh, their interaction was depicted in the drama CD released before the movie. They got along well and hit it off almost immediately.”
“Seriously? Mind if I borrow it after this?”
“Go right ahead. Listen to it with your son.”
“Thanks.”
【Sad news: Naio has a kid too】【So Dekki is the only single one】【Though apparently he has a blonde beauty girlfriend】【Naio's wife is definitely a loli in red clothes】
“No, she's an onee-san-type beauty, thinking about it logically.”
“Well, enough about real life! More importantly, let's talk about Mea-chan's new form!”
“Rainbow Mea-chan, Mothra Mea... Looking at posts online, it seems all sorts of nicknames are already spreading -dao.”
“They're probably people who couldn't buy the pamphlet... Poor things.”
“That's war, thinking about it logically.”
【Tch】【Tch】【Fuck you, Dekki】【Damn it】【The sadness of it selling out right before me (´・ω・`)】【My local theater doesn't have the pamphlet】【After the screening I was in such a dreamy state walking back to the parking lot that I forgot to buy it】【I'm always afraid of spoilers, so I wait until after the movie to buy it and then end up often forgetting】【The pamphlet actually contains quite a lot of new information】【Was the new form called Fairy Burst Ain Sof Aur?】【The name's too long, it'll probably end up settling as Rainbow Mea-chan】(tl note: Aur? Ohr? Can’t remember)
Mitsui Mea's awakened form. That appearance, thoroughly concealed in the trailers, was depicted as a form unique to her, clearly different from the Fairy Bursts that had appeared before.
Its name was not spoken in the movie, but the details were written in the pamphlet sold at the theater.
Reading that pamphlet, Virtual Dekiruo began speaking with a thoroughly otaku-like radiant smile his face.
“That's right! It seems the Fairy Burst that Mea-chan reached is indeed different from En's Infinity Burst. And perhaps this was something long awaited. Borrowing from the Mugenko Ain Sof Aur, we got Fairy Burst Ain Sof Aur! I had my suspicions when the finishing move used for the final attack on Sheriruth was called Ain Sof Aur, but...”
“This guy starts talking fast whenever mythology comes up.”
“The Tree of Sefirot is a required subject -dao. Yaruo remembers it too...”
“You were the bigger otaku back in our student days.” [Yaranaio]
“I have surpassed Yaru-san...!” [Dekiruo]
【The scene where Mea connected the three ribbons derived from the World Tree Sefira and turned them into one great sword was great...】【And then she unleashes the finishing sword, Ain Sof Aur! Sheriruth dies】【It was nice that he revived by absorbing Greysphere's power like some hidden boss, but poor Sheriruth-kun getting completely beaten up by everyone immediately afterward was both pitiful and pathetic】【Mea-chan and Riin-kun probably could've beaten him by themselves...】【No, Grey-Sheriruth was strong, befitting the movie’s big boss. He just had bad opponents】【Mea-chan's final boss battle ended with the Keter fight, and after that it became an all-star gathering just like a movie should be】
After the Keter battle, the next scene that came up as Mea's exploits in her richly colored butterfly-wing form was the exhilarating final battle.
The Abyssal Qlippoth Sheriruth, whose fate had been unknown since self-destructing in the previous work. Having secretly maneuvered within the Human World, he set his sights on Greysphere's Tree of Evil and absorbed its power, reincarnating and reviving as “Grey-Sheriruth.”
The final battle of the story brought together him, Mea and the others, and En's expedition group, who finally joined them after much anticipation.
The enemy was powerful, but defeat never felt likely. With even Keter, Eight, and Charon providing their full cooperation, Sheriruth was finally erased this time, and the story reached its grand finale.
The shounen manga-like conclusion reminded viewers of the story of the original work.
“Like everyone is saying, it really did feel like... the ending was a flashy finish very reminiscent of old anime movies -dao.”
“As Mea's story, I think it would've been fine to end it once things were settled with Keter. But personally, I was happy to get the extra serving of having the true hidden boss appear.”
“The foreshadowing for Sheriruth's secret maneuvers had already appeared in En and the expedition team's storyline, so it wasn't exactly out of nowhere. And besides, in the end everyone gathers together, with clamor like bam-bang, defeats the great evil, and leaves you feeling satisfied! That's all it needs to be. In the scene where En's group came rushing in, I pumped my fist despite my age.”
【I get it】【A gate suddenly opens → A new enemy!? → Previous work’s protagonist appears. That sequence is good for the health】【As a story, I do prefer the emotional resolution of the Keter fight】【That said, a flashy final battle that lowers your IQ is necessary for a movie】【Sheriruth not changing at all even after reincarnation made him a great contrast character. I couldn't really sympathize with him, and it felt good when he was defeated】【It was also nice that Riin-kun, with corrosion unleashed, was so strong that it proved Mea-chan was right to choose dialogue】
Overall, they were relieved that even though the protagonist had changed, the foundation of the story itself had not.
Apparently many others felt the same way.
“Of course protagonist Mea-chan was great, but as long-time fans, it's a big plus that every single character got their chance to shine.”
Of course, not all humanity would highly praise it in the same way, but as a reward for fans who had followed it for years, Virtual Dekiruo rated it, without exaggeration, as the greatest movie.
Which was why he wanted to talk about it.
He still hadn't talked enough.
To share these feelings, he continued hosting without a script, freely and at his own pace.
“So then, whose exploits should we talk about next?”
“If we're going by popularity, T.P. Eight Olishua should be saved for last. After Mea-chan, it'd have to be Riin, thinking in terms of key person.”
“Arisu-chan would be fine too -dao! It was a bit shocking that she went from being a one-off boss character in the old movie to becoming the protagonist's partner position -dao...”
“The Yamikumo siblings have really moved up in the world too. Kakeru-kun, in particular, ended up in circumstances that feel like a light novel protagonist.”
【First love and admired older sister: Eight】【Genius little sister: Arisu】【Strongest classmate in school: Mea】【The gender-unknown scientist: the Cyber Connect person】【Seriously feels like a light novel protagonist lol】【The one who made Kakeru's suit had an unusually elaborate design. Were they a new character?】【They had no lines, but I liked them】【Though it seems romance is impossible because this brother’s view of women was ended by Eight-chan】【I think there'll be a Kakeru-centered spin-off or sequel. Demon King-sama seems to like him quite a bit too】
Virtual Dekiruo continued enjoying this ordinary moment today as well.
Because he knew this time would not last forever, he simply enjoyed this joking, playful time as though dancing through it.
“Really... it's wonderful when a series keeps going!”
──Such was a story from a certain world line.
(Since things had been serious, I adjusted the balance with those three idiots.
Next chapter, the epilogue will conclude the Movie Mea Arc.)
