For a while now I've not been able to have automatic captions on my videos. However, I do want captions as they are useful for a host of accessibility reasons. Which means I need a manual system. (And that's probably much better for videos with so much technical language anyway.)
There are services I could pay to transcribe the videos, but I'd be worried about all the mathematical terminology being correct. Plus I'd be using your money to do that, so I thought I might skip the middleperson and see if Patreon people would like to help caption soon-to-be-released videos.
To that end we've started a Stand-up Maths Discord server. Only open to Patreon supporters there are some general channels because why not, and one private channel for people who want to work on subtitles.
