I am pleased to bring you another Illustration Support Pack, which includes [10] item illustrations, [10] landscape scenes and [8] NPC Portraits & Tokens.
Item Illustrations
This month's item illustrations were built with the theme of giants and giant-kin in mind - relics and artifacts used by powerful creatures that could be found in floating sky castles, dirty hillside forts, sprawling mountainous caves or oceanic lairs. These items were not designed with any module in mind, and could be purposed toward your campaign or adventure in whatever way to see fit.
The item illustrations were done by Steven Bell.
I particularly enjoyed Ymir's Horn, a Very Rare Wondrous Item that requires attunement.
The horn is nearly the length of a human's entire body, carved from the frost-petrified horn of a primordial giant beast said to have roamed the frost-covered mountains when the world was young. Its surface glistens with a natural icy sheen, veins of blue light shifting beneath the translucent layers of ice. Thick rims of rune-etched bronze cap either end, hammered into shape by an ancient frost giant smith.
Abilities:
1/day - The attuned user may blow the horn to cast Destructive Wave (cold or thunder).
1/day - The attune user unleashes a Giant’s Command — all creatures within 120 ft. must make a DC 18 Wis save or be frightened for 1 minute.
The horn is rumored to be one of the only ways to gain entry to Hrímhall, the ancestral home of giantkin and location of their rare ceremonial meetings.
I hope you can use it for some fun moments in your adventures!
The other illustrated items in this pack are:
Embershard Mantle (Fire Giant)
Feast King's Cauldron (Hill Giant)
Nimbus Tome | Closed (Cloud Giant)
Nimbus Tome | Open (Cloud Giant)
Lens of the Rune Crafter (Stone Giant)
Circlet of the Stratos (Cloud Giant)
Sundial Bracer (Cloud Giant)
Titan's Eye Pendant (Storm Giant)
Wintermaw Axe (Frost Giant)
NPC Portraits & Tokens
This month's item illustrations were built with the theme of the Speakers of Ten Towns from Icewind Dale in mind. They can certainly be used as any characters within your homebrew world/campaign, but they should also be fairly well aligned with the descriptions of the Speakers from modules like Rime of the Frostmaiden.
Here's a look at the portraits, by HIIDRA Studios:
Duvessa Shane (Human)
Edgra Durmoot (Human)
Kendrick Rielsbarrow (Human)
Marham Southwell (Human)
