Welcome to the lair of the Sea Witch, a powerful and dangerous creature known to lair in the shadowy cliffs of a island far out to sea.
Legend of the witch has spread through many a port and tavern of the Sea Witch and the many strange sights those sailors have beheld. Tales of terrifying storms coming out of nowhere, ships being drug down into the depths by the tentacles of a massive beast and of the most beautiful women ever seen swimming just below the water's surface abound.
The map depicts the Sea Witch Cavern, which is comprised largely of [4] main areas.
The Cave Entrance is along the base of a stony cliff on an island somewhere out at sea. The large bones of a whale or other sea creature hang about a pair of shadowy entryways leading to calmer waters.
The Left Cavern makes its way back toward what appears to be a rushing wall of water suspended from floor to ceiling, with no apparent source. The crashing water echos off the cavern walls like thunder, making it difficult to hear and easy to be surprised. On the left side of the cavern is a small rock jutting above the water's surface holding the Siren's Stone, a luminous pearl that seems to "sing" to those that draw near.
The Siren's Stone is a magical object the Sea Witch uses to lure victims to her cave and render them defenseless should she wish to capture them, drown them or worse. Those that hear its call forget all other desires and draw near, treading water until they tire and drown or are taken by the witch or her servant.
The Right Cavern is a narrow tunnel lined with undulating crimson fronds. These plant-like creatures can be controlled by the Sea Witch to move the bodies of willing or unwilling creatures from one end of the tunnel to the other, or to the prisoner crates located on a small island in the middle of the tunnel. The waters of this tunnel are unnaturally and dangerously hot, scalding anyone that does not have some type of fire resistance or immunity.
The Sea Witch's Lair is at the back of the cavern, past the magical wall of water, and is comprised of three small stony islands rising from the waters. Her hut sits atop the leftmost island, with large pieces of driftwood forming a bridge toward the other two. The central island holds the witch's cauldron and several dead fish, gutted and apparently used in some type of ritual. The right-hand island has an archway made of polished coral bricks that contains a glowing blue portal, shimmering like sunlight on the ocean.

We've ALSO got another great collaboration with James RPG Art for a wonderful concept scene and animation!
James' RPG Art makes animated scenes to help players visualise environments and add immersion and tone to your games. He has created over 300 scenes from official WotC adventures and many unique locations that are often found in a D&D adventure. He releases 4 new locations each month for his patrons.
Here's the illustration:
And here's an example of the map (included as attachment at bottom of post):
We also have a token for the Sea Witch's Hut, which includes several items for crafting potions, draughts and other magical concoctions:
How do I use this map?
Rescue Mission - Your PC's may hear tell of some sailors or passengers that were waylaid and imprisoned by the Sea Witch, requiring them to seek out her lair and see to their rescue.
Monster Lair - The Sea Witch may attack a boat the PC's are sailing upon, and they must contend with her before the ocean waters will allow them to continue.
Resource - The Sea Witch, while dangerous, may also prove a powerful and useful ally for the right price. While every bargain struck with her seems like a poor decision, it may be the only way to achieve their immediate goal.
As always, we also have a great Sprite created by Katsudon Art of the Sea Witch and her Giant Octopus companion, who carries her about the ocean waters and aids her in her devious dealings.
As usual, I've split these into Tokens you can use in your VTT, as well:
I hope you enjoy the map and can create some fun adventures!
