The download ZIP file containing these images can be found attached to this post, so there will be no Tier Reward Post or separate download URL, but I will add the link to the Master Map Lists.

I am pleased to bring you another Illustration Support Pack, which includes [12] item illustrations, [12] landscape scenes and [9] NPC Portraits & Tokens.

Item Illustrations

This month's item illustrations were built with a planar theme in mind -- objects involved in planar travel, planar-based equipment and a special set of [4] planar pieces devised by a gnomish artificer that, when combined, may threaten the entire universe.

The item illustrations were done by Steven Bell.

The highlighted item then, of course, is the Astral Navigator , a Unique Wondrous Item that requires all [3] attunement slots.

Astral Navigator

Many centuries ago, a brilliant planar scholar named Tesselfim Wickbriar sought a way to maintain a stable window into the Plane of Mechanus for extended research into their methods of building, power generation and perfect clockwork order. After years of experimentation with astral lenses and navigation instruments, he accidentally discovered that the same stabilizing principles worked not just for one plane, but for every plane of existence.

Realizing the terrifying implications (i.e. armies marching across realities or reckless mages tearing open permanent gateways), Wickbriar secretly dismantled his invention into four components - the Astral Dial, Compass of Infinite Bearing, Planer Gate Key and Star Lens. He entrusted each piece to different allies and magical institutions, leaving only cryptic notes about the device's true purpose.

Over the centuries, those pieces were lost, stolen or remain hidden with their original keepers, and most scholars now believe the Astral Navigator to be nothing more than a myth whispered among planar cartographers.

While attuned to the Astral Navigator, you can perform the following:

The wielder can open a stable portal to any known plane once per week, and the portal can take the shape of any solid framework (i.e. doorway, portal, natural archway or cave mouth), allowing potentially hundreds of beings through at once.

Teleportation and planar travel within 60 ft cannot misfire.

The device automatically seeks and reveals unknown or hidden planes, which could drive entire campaign arcs.

I hope you it can potentially make for a fun campaign-driving arc in your adventures!

The other illustrated items in this pack are:

Star Lens

Planar Gate Key

Compass of Infinite Bearing

Astral Dial

Aetherwind Core (Engine)

Cloak of the Void Voyager

Blade of the Boundary

Navigator's Orrery

Planar Surveyor Goggles

Assembled Astral Navigator

NPC Portraits & Tokens

This month's item illustrations were built with one major theme in mind, but [2] of them were designed for expanded Phandalin NPC's -- a halfling miller always interested in trading local town gossip and a young human blacksmith who replaced her mentor under suspicious circumstances. The rest of the NPC's (7) were designed with the Arcane Prison map in mind -- including [1] prisoner, [1] NPC aimed at freeing said prisoner and several mages, artificers and arcane knights sworn to guard the dangerous denizens of this interdimensional prison.

Even if you aren't planning to use the Arcane Prison location, many of these characters would make mages and similar NPC's for your homebrew campaign.

Here's a look at the portraits, by HIIDRA Studios:

Human Blacksmith

Imprisoned Djinn Patron
