One of the largest maps of any module I can remember, the Well of Dragons is the final showdown location for the WOTC module, Rise of Tiamat/Tyranny of Dragons.
We have a great illustration by Ha Art to help set the scene, with and without an adventuring party looking onto the daunting location:
This Map Pack includes the Caldera and the Lava Tubes beneath it, all leading toward Tiamat's Temple, where cultists are attempting to summon her to this world. The temple will be part of a separate map pack coming up this month.
The Caldera holds the top of the temple itself, surrounded by the bones of dragons that came here to die. Many more are flying through the air, as cultists and worshipers flock to the location to serve their mistress. The Lava Tubes contain several chambers that include a vast hoard of wealth, meeting chambers, prisoner caves, meeting rooms, cultist barracks and more.

The Caldera features a large amount of interior area that can be traversed and accessed via the lava tubes, and vice versa:

Even if you are not running the module, this would be a great location for a Dragon Cult, a BBEG Lair or many other potential encounters that suit your narrative. Salves to be rescued, deity summoning rituals to disrupt, cultists to slay...it's an action packed weekend.

HOW DO I USE THIS MAP?
Whether you are using Well of Dragons for the Rise of Tiamat module, or as a location in your homebrew world, the building interiors can create a more immersive setting for you and your players. Players can have a large-scale location to infiltrate and explore, requiring them to hatch some sophisticated plans to enter unnoticed or unmolested.
