I am pleased to bring you another Illustration Support Pack, which includes [10] item illustrations, [8] landscape scenes and [8] NPC Portraits & Tokens.
Item Illustrations
This month's item illustrations were built with the idea of powerful, one-time use objects that carry an equally powerful danger to their use. A crown that grants one last wish, but what happens when every wish has been cast? A vial of phoenix ash that can revitalize the dead, even regenerating lost limbs, but they returned marked by fire and vulnerable to cold.
The item illustrations were done by Steven Bell.
The highlighted item is the Storm Glass Dagger, a relic rumored to have been created by Storm Giants in the open desert. The blade is crafted from translucent glass, its interior filled with a massive tempest of high winds and crackling lightning.
Storm Glass Dagger
In the deep deserts, Storm Giants occasionally venture into the sands during a mighty tempest to trap the chaotic storms within weapons of fused glass. These powerful items are sold and trafficked to desert merchants, often delivered within an insulated wooden case.
When the dagger strikes its target, the glass shatters and the tempest is unleashed upon its target, as well as those within a wide radius. Powerful winds buffet everyone in the area, making it difficult to move while lightning crackles overhead, delivering powerful strikes to everyone in the area.
When the storm subsides, it delivers one final lightning strike to the wielder of the dagger, potentially overwhelming them with lethal force and frequently making this a weapon of last resort.
I hope you can use it for an evocative scene in your story, or perhaps tempt a doomed player with the most epic exit ever!
The other illustrated items in this pack are:
Crown of the Last Wish
Blade of the Final Breath
Hourglass Locket of Borrowed Time
Vial of Phoenix Ash
