I got the email today. If you make any Patreon payments using Apple Pay, 30% of your money gets sucked up, specifically by Apple. Not Patreon, not me. Apple.
Do not, I repeat, DO NOT use Apple Pay to subscribe to any Patreon. Not mine, not anyone else's. Charge through any other means than Apple Pay.
I assume everyone has already heard this news, but I feel it's necessary to make a post for those who haven't.
