All Keyframes Done / Blender 5 / FAQ

Now it's just down to my in-betweeners and me going through all 30 scenes and filling in the rest of the 2d frames, add voice and mouth flaps, and finally the music. The combined length of every scene's .blend file is a grand total of about 13 minutes for Act 0.

In other news, after years of waiting for the new Grease Pencil 3.0 to catch up, I have finally moved 98% of my homemade layer/tool manager script to Blender 5.1.2. When all the scenes made in 4.1.1 are finished, I will be moving entirely to 5.1.2. I'll try and make a tutorial video for my script soon, but we're all staying focused on finishing Act 0 for now.

A little list of FAQ answers:

Episode 3 is going to be released one act at a time. I'm doing this because I prefer to release smaller "episodes" more frequently, instead of combining several acts into one like Episode 2 did.

Each Act will be roughly the length of Episode 1.

Act 0 is a "previously..." prologue story that takes place nine years before Episode 2, when Fox's parents are working with Andross on a portal experiment. (The Titania incident)

Acts 1, 2, 3, etc. Will be taking place during present "Episode 1" time, as well as past "Episode 2" time.

I'm aiming for Act 0 to be finished and uploaded to YouTube in two months; we'll see.

Aside from Act 0, most of Act 1 is already fully animated, save for voice work and mouth flaps. Some of Act 2's animation has been started on, but everyone is focusing on Act 0 until it's finished.

I do not know how many acts we will make. If my Blender Grease Pencil animator team grows a little, then we'll probably do 4 or more.

When I'm completely finished with AFIS 3, we will move over to my original animated series, "The Violence."
