Hello Deathlings,

New main channel video is in the works for early September (bold of me to make such a promise– but we're in the middle of editing). I tell the Patrons and so it shall be!

Until then, please enjoy my first appearance on a podcast in FOREVER. I had to come out of podtirement– that's podcast retirement– for the new show from the stars of the show Mythbusters. This is classic Caitlin, ingenue-era Caitlin, bebe-Caitlin, answering questions about death at Disney and pooping when you die. It feels like a different era of me, but it's also easy and comfortable to fall right back into the rhythm. At the end of recording, their producer was like, "wow, you're good on a podcast." And I thought, "you know what ma'am, thank you, I am good on a podcast."

Speaking of strange skills in my back pocket, a wedding!

I was the officiant for the wedding of my lovely friends on their family property in Wisconsin. I'm not just good for a funeral, folks! I love any kind of meaningful transitional ritual, and I have to hand it to weddings, there is usually more in the way of dancing and conga lines.

If you didn't see this update on Instagram, I handed Part 2 of THE TITANIC BOOK (still no name, no I shan't be discussing further) to my editor. I got a brief thrill and a few days off and then it was straight back to Part 3.

I don't know what this queen is up to now, but I feel like her most days.
