Hello everyone!
This week, I finally wrapped up Octavia’s lewd scene and all its variations. It was a massive undertaking that took an insane amount of time, but I hope it was worth it and that everyone will appreciate the effort. I’ve completed all the static renders, animations, dialogues, and code for these scenes. All that’s left is some polishing and testing of a few details, but overall, this section is done, and I don’t expect any major issues. The beta test will tell for sure.
With that part finished, I jumped straight into writing the next few key scenes for the main storyline. It wasn’t without its challenges... I had to brainstorm, dig back into my five-year-old notes, cross-check old dialogues, and deal with some plot inconsistencies. The main struggle comes from the fact that I wrote the core storyline framework five years ago, and as development progressed, I made changes, fleshed out ideas, and added new elements later on. Sometimes I’d toss in or cut scenes, tweak the plot, and adapt things as I went. It's normal to make adjustments along the way, especially considering I’m not a professional writer or developer, this is my first-ever project, and I’m doing it all solo :) I’ve bumped my head on some rough spots and learned lessons I’ll apply differently in the future, based on my experience with How to Fix the Future. Creative blocks didn’t help either, stalling me on refining certain dialogues and character arcs. The tricky part is juggling multiple character arcs, plot threads that intertwine, events across different timelines that affect each other, plus relationship branches, character preferences, and player choices. All these threads need to weave together into something engaging, logical, and complete. But I finally pieced the puzzle together, and I’m happy with the result. Now it’s just a matter of posing and rendering these scenes, which I’ve already started.
I’ve got three more scenes left to write, some parts of which will also be lewd. As for special and custom renders, I’ll work on those starting tomorrow.
