I know, I know, back to back red heads hahaha!
I had a lot of fun with this piece and tried some different things. With some of it more tightly rendered than usual and some of it more loosely rendered than usual. At first I was thinking about making this an original character piece with the female character being a tavern maid like the black and white sketch but after playing around with the sketch decided to go with Sorceress. But don't worry the poor little tavern wench won't escape my clutches. She'll just have to wait for another day.
I don't have a real specific story to go with this so you'll just have decide what works for you. Maybe she's a bad gambler, maybe the locals had too much to drink and she didn't keep her staff close enough, etc.
