I have decided that I will do my best to make sure that I make everything I post easily accessible and clear to the neurodivergent or hard of sight. So here is the same post from today, but in the form of text only:
There is a Post-It note on a paper letter. The Post-It has written on it, "As promised, here's the translated version. Will send the rest when I have them. -C"
At the top of the paper is a cool looking logo with triangles and circles, and next to the logo is the name of the college in it's native alien language. The letter reads:
Hello and Greetings Dear Future Students,
We are so very pleased to inform you that if you are receiving this letter, it means you have successfully passed the final step of the application and testing process, and you are officially accepted into Shallmar Global University's Extra-Planetary Cultural Archivist Program. As you well know, if you've made it this far, this was no easy feat. The acceptance rate is tremendously small, but you have proven yourselves to be extraordinary in your intellect and capability, as well as advanced in your emotional intelligence and capacity for understanding. We have no doubt of the immense and justified pride you should be feeling for yourself and from your family at this time. We celebrate that for you. Your schooling will begin on 25°Zhi°153, though you are welcome to arrive as early as 25°Zhi°148 to allow you time to acclimate to the environment and become familiar with the campus.
You will notice that alongside this acceptance letter, you have also received your first assignment, which has been automatically uploaded onto your PCD. This assignment is a mental training course designed to introduce you to many tools and fundamental principles which will be absolutely paramount to every day of the 42 Qrasnos you will be schooling here at the SGU, and your career as an ECA forevermore. This program will be presented to you incrementally; the next installment of the program will be sent to you at the beginning of every K'sondo, and you are to make that chapter your main focus for the duration of that K'sondo, until receiving the next segment. There will be 11 segments in total, one for each of the K'sondos remaining until the beginning of your schooling.
Many new students through the Qrasnos have found this pre-initiation program to be perhaps more metaphysical and abstract than they would expect to be at the start of such a scholarly endeavor. However, we reiterate that there is not a more important or beneficial foundation we could begin with. First and foremost, it is important that we cultivate the strength of your mind and its ability to focus with clarity and power. You could memorize every factual lesson and technical manual by heart over the next 42 Qrasnos, and yet all would be for nothing without the necessary sharpness and clarity of a balanced and focused mind.
We want to reiterate that we only begin a new class of students every 10 Qrasnos, and that out of over 20,000 applicants, you were one of only 97 chosen who excelled magnificently at every single step of the sifting process, and therefore earned the prestigious privilege of embarking upon a career as an Extra-Planetary Cultural Archivist. There are many challenges that lie ahead for you, both in your training and in your adventures thereafter, but we have no doubt you will be able to handle whatever comes your way with bravery, poise, and brilliance, as you have thus far proven. We look forward to seeing in what ways you bring vibrancy and new life into our campus with your unique perspectives and skills.
May you enjoy the 11 week mental training course even more than you expect to. You may just find something you didn't even know you were looking for, and then nothing will ever be the same again.

There are a few places on the paper where it has been written on later with red ink, by hand. The notes say:
-PCD stands for "Personal Connection Device
-42 Qrasnos is roughly 120 earth years, which is how long they will be in school
-A K'sondo is about 10 earth days
-The signature at the bottom looks like a completely different language than the one at the top of the page. So interesting....
