DESCRIPTION
A design intended for use as a tattoo, with the core motif of a hannya-esque leering oni face featuring elements that recall oceanic fauna. As it turned out the principal source for those traits was crustaceans, and the client and I had a fun exchange that resulted in the novel concept of using crab/lobster claws as "Horns". Auspiciously the client hails from an area known for crab fishing, so it had particular resonance for them.
