Hello hello!! I hope you all are well ^w^Over the past few years, I've had a hard time trying to decide how to focus my efforts, and it's shown with how sporadic my posts have been. I've been floundering around starting (and failing at) many different projects that I end up not being able to commit to for lots of different reasons... And that's been going on for like... a long time lolBut I was laying in bed thinking about it the other day, and I finally settled on a couple of things that I'm now pretty certain of:
I want to finish (at least some) strong SFW projects that I can actually show to regular people—namely my parents! They're getting older, and I realize more and more each day that they aren't going to be around forever, so I want to have things that I can actually share with them and be proud of before it's too late
I want my OCs to have a home! A proper piece of media that they can belong to, so that people will see them, and be like "oh! That's Holly from blah blah," or whatever... So they can stop being just drawings, and be actual characters in a world where they exist
SO! To reconcile this, I have decided something that may or may not be surprising depending on if you know pre-Plucknix Era lore, BUT: I want to get back into game development! Really really badly!! I think about it all the time!!! So later this year, I want to begin putting all of these little dummies together in a video game :D
I won't be quitting work as Plucknix either, though! One of my biggest goals from last year that I didn't achieve was creating an animated short, and I am still absolutely going to finish that first! It's what I'm currently working on, and I want to finally spread my wings on this thing and try and sweat really hard!!!(Holly will also be sweaty, but for different reasons)
Then after that's done, I'll read through all the feedback to reevaluate and see what's up :o
So yeah! Those are my plans for this year! And I'm feeling super motivated!!! I'll continue working hard on stuff here!!! I hope that you all enjoy these projects when they're complete, and thank you for the support you guys have always shown for my work, for Holly, and my other OCs—it makes me so happy!!!! :)
---TLDR: I'm currently working on an animated short and nothing else until it's done! And after that, I'm likely going to pivot back into game development and do half that and half continuing work on standard Plucknix stuff? We'll figure it out when we get there! >:3
