A commission I started working for a project that eventually got scrapped, but I’m still very fond of this piece. It sprung off an idea I had of a Sumo and Turkish wrestler meeting up after their respective matches to enjoy a tender cooling-off in the locker showers. And considering both Japan and Turkey are big on bathhouse culture, I’ve often considered making this piece into a short series, perhaps a comic…
