By popular demand I brought back the edge button! Its the blue hand below the pause. You can either click it or press "e" and it will stop the game immediately and give you a chance to recover.
I had to change about 900 lines of code to get this sucker working properly. If you notice any new bugs let me know and I'll work on them over the next few days.
